IS COACHING THE RIGHT FIT FOR ME?
The goal of coaching is to reach behavioral changes you desire.
Coaching is based in the ‘now’ it is solution focused and does not explore past influences or dynamics that created the existing problem. It is helping you change your thoughts and behaviors through goal oriented, action focused, and outwardly defined changes. The goals are measurable and the actions taken to reach those goals are visible. It is a forward movement and effective action to improve performance, quality of life, deepen your learning via education and specific at home exercises. The interaction is to create clarity and action plans to be completed within the time from set between the coach and their client.
Coaches and their participants/clients are partners in the process. You have the right to agree or disagree with any and all suggestions made by your coach.
Coaches do not have to follow the state limits of only practicing within those they are formally licensed; there are no state or national limitations, nor is their a national mandated certifying body. Coaching services are also not covered by insurance.
